We are thrilled to announce that Jeff Loskorn, a senior reservoir engineer with our firm since 2014, has been named a Partner at Cawley, Gillespie & Associates. Jeff has consistently demonstrated excellence in his field, serving both public and private clients across the country. His expertise in reserves and economic evaluations, fair market valuations, field studies, reserves-based lending, and acquisition/divestiture analysis has made him an invaluable asset to our team.
Jeff has extensive experience evaluating conventional and unconventional resources in every major basin in the United States, with a particular focus on the Permian Basin. A proud Longhorn, Jeff graduated from the University of Texas with both a B.S. and an M.S. in Civil Engineering. He is also a registered professional engineer in Texas and an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Jeff is known for delivering reliable work, even on short notice and tight deadlines. You may often find him mingling on the NAPE floor, attending SPE happy hours, or enjoying a round of golf scrambles with clients.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending quality time with his family—coaching his young kids’ sports teams, taking his lab and 2-year-old daughter on dog walks, and enjoying the Austin culinary scene with his wife, Shelby. And yes, he also loves playing golf scrambles with friends!
